This privacy policy is designed to provide transparency to your use of the GitJournal applications. This application allows you to write and manage notes.

User provided information

If you request information or technical support, your personal data (such as your email address) is used only to respond to specific inquiry. The other information such as application version, device and OS version is required only for improving the application.

Information gathering and usage

GitJournal also collects aggregated, anonymous user data regarding app usage. The user data we collect is used to improve GitJournal and the quality of our service. This may include the device’s locale preferences, non-unique identification numbers associated with your devices, your mobile carrier, date and time stamps, system configuration information, and other interactions with the application. We do not to collect any advertising IDs.

Your data

Your data can be synchronized with other Git Hosting providers. We have no control over these 3rd party GitHosting providers. We do not collect any information about your notes.

Advertising

We don’t like it, and therefore do not show any ads. Nor do we ever plan to.

We use the following 3rd party services to enhance GitJournal -

  • Sentry for crash reporting

They can can be opted-out in the Settings of GitJournal.

Policy changes
